Get a Library Card
Library
cards are free of charge to residents or taxpayers in the District of Sechelt,
Sunshine Coast Regional District – Areas A, B, and D (Pender Harbour, Halfmoon
Bay, Roberts Creek) and the Sechelt Indian Government District. All you need is
ID showing your name, signature, and current address (residence not post box number).
Acceptable Identification includes the following:
- Current Driver’s License
- Current BC ID
- Envelope postmarked within one month
- Property Tax Bill
- Current hydro, telephone, or cable bill
Residents from other InterLINK
libraries also use the Sechelt Public Library free of charge. This system
is possible through a reciprocal agreement with 17 other Library systems. One
Library Card gains you access to all public libraries from the Gibsons and District
Public Library to Boston Bar. Except for the Gibsons and District Public Library
(Sechelt and Gibsons have a shared database) you will need to register your Sechelt
Library Card and provide the required identification. Books can be borrowed from
one InterLINK Library and returned to the Sechelt Public Library.
